1st Decade : Foundation Period
1967
Founded factory in Phrapadaeng District, Samutprakarn Province with authorized capital 10 million baht.1968
Started manufacturing electric wire and aluminum cables and sold them to Electricity Authority nationwide.1970
Expanded its business to cover copper casting and rolling and produce copper cables to meet the market need.1975
Started acquiring standard mark for industrial product, electric wire category both for aluminum and copper wire from the Thai Industrial Standard Institute (TISI), Ministry of Insudtry.1976
First listed in the Stock Exchange of Thailand.
2nd Decade : Expansion Stage
1978
Increased its authorized capital to 42 million baht to expand its production lines to cover telephone cable and started installing the machine for producing telephone cable.1979
Started exporting cable products to Indonesia, Singapore and the Philippines.1983
Installed new machine for producing complete product range of Telephone cable.1985
Produce all kinds of telephone cables used in Thailand and acquired industrial product certification from TISI.1987
Expanded production lines to cover electronic cables and obtained product certification for flexible cord from UL,USA
3rd Decade : Standardization Stage
1988
Increased its authorized capital from 42 million baht to 100 million baht.1990
Constructed new factory on 140 Rai, land located at suwinthawong road, Saladaeng sub-district, Bangnumpriew district, Chachoengsao.1992
Officially started the new factory and started research and production trial of fire resistant cables.1994
Transformed to public company under name "Charoong Thai Wire & Cable Public Company Limited" with its trademark "CTW"1996
Accredited with standard for quality management system according to ISO:90011997
Jointly invested to set up Siam Fiber Optics with authorized capital 160 million baht to product optical fiber cables.
